Workshop objectives • After the workshops, participants will be able to: • Write student learning objectives (cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains) • Describe different learning styles • Using cognitive learning objectives, select methods of classroom teaching (presentation methods, student verbal interaction methods, application methods)

  3. Workshop objectives • Use questioning as a teaching method (non-directed discussion, directed discussion) • Use the case study method (types of cases, modes of presentation, case methodologies) • Use methods for practice (demonstrations, field trips, individual projects, experiential)

  4. Workshop objectives • Select and use instructional aides and resources (Internet, journals & periodicals, teaching aids, models, professional associations) • Develop student assessment and student grading and construct classroom tests (fixed response, student supplied response)
