After her graduation, she started working as a registered nurse at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center, and has ten years of nursing experience. She married the love of her life 5 years ago and they have one daughter together.

When she’s not performing her duties as a nurse the SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, she can be found volunteering at the local soup kitchen, sometimes with her four year old daughter in tow.

When she’s not working at the SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital or volunteering at the soup kitchen, she can be found training for an Ironman Triathlon, so she can check the achievement off her bucket list.

When she’s not working or volunteering in her community, she can be found decompressing with a mystery novel or biography. She also frequently reads to her four year old daughter.
