Member States Study Groups
Study Group Process Study Group meeting establishes Working Parties and Rapporteur Groups. Study Group members submit contributions addressing a question. On the basis of contributions and debate a new Recommendation is drafted or amendments to an existing recommendation drafted. If agreed the Study Group starts the approval process.
Approval Process Traditional Approval Process, TAP, for policy regulatory and tariff type recommendations. Alternative Approval Process, AAP, for technical type recommendations (standards).
Sector Member Role For a technical Recommendation Sector Members are involved in each step of the process from the development and approval of the question in a Study group through to the approval of the Recommendation in the Study Group.
