Create a Small Committee • Publicity Chair (Press Releases) • Website/Bulletin Editor • Social Media Editor (In Meeting) • Social Media Editor (Programs) • Social Media Editor (Special Events) • Photographer (Sergeant-at-Arms) • Designer (Member or Vendor)
Focus on Results • New Generations: Scholarships, RYLA, Interact • Vocational Service: Business/Employee of the Year • Club Service: Rotarian of the Year • International Service: Building Bathrooms in a South African school • Community Service: New drinking fountain at a park

Build Relationships w/ Local Media • Ask your membership who can introduce you to news directors THEN call them and take them to lunch • Provide Press Releases via email & twitter • Comment and converse with local news media on facebook and twitter • Have members who have strong relationship with media submit your news releases
Follow up, Follow up, Follow up • Send your release to news media • Call the person to make sure they received it • Ask them if they can run your story/release • Follow up with a thank you for running • The squeaky wheel gets the grease!
