This project explores how English projects on local studies can be used to build students' local, national, and European identity. It aims to improve language skills, enhance discussion culture, and increase self-confidence. The research is based on relevant theories and aims to disseminate the findings through a teacher's portfolio.

Action Research 2011 – 2012 locally – 148 students of E. Gluck`s Alūksne State Gymnasium internationally – 49 teachers
