Mission Statement The Volunteer & Service-Learning Center is dedicated to providing service, leadership, and service-learning opportunities for the students, faculty, and staff at UVU. Through programs and projects in the classroom, the community, and the world, the Center works to increase social and cultural commitment, and extend meaningful educational opportunities that increase knowledge and enhance academic skill.

AmeriCorps • Every year the Center receives funding from Utah Campus Compact to provide $1,000 Education Awards to student volunteers through the AmeriCorps program.
Service Scholar • We offer a Service-Learning Distinction program for graduating students who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to service and service-learning. Students meeting the requirements receive special honors at graduation and recognition on their transcript.
