  4. Discipline • Industrial discipline is the act of doing the right thing on the shop floorlevel • the Control of Attendance, • To maintain productivity • To supervise their performance

  5. Domestic Enquiry • It is an inquiry held by the management against its own employee against whom certain acts of misconducts are alleged. • Domestic enquiry is a discplinary procedure to be followed by all the establishments whenever they are willing to take strong action against employee.

  6. Grievance Settlement Procedure • Grievance procedure is a formal communication between an employee and the management designed for the settlement of a grievance. The grievance procedures differ from organization to organization. • 1. Issuing a charge sheet2. Getting a reply to the charge sheet.3. Appointing an Enquiry Officer.4. Conducting the enquiry. 5. Preparation of the Enquiry report.6. Award of punishment by the punishing authority.7. If needed the accused can appeal before the appealing authority.8. The decision of the appealing authority tends to be final
