Problem • Dad threatens to send him to military school because he thinks that Greg is wimpy and military school will show him some respect.
Greg's neighbors, the Snellas, had a birthday party for their one year old. At the party they always take videos of adults trying to make the baby laugh so they can send them into Americas Funniest Videos. Greg's dad doesn’t want to be embarrassed, so he tells Greg that if he gets him out of this he will owe him big time. Read the rest of the book to find out what Greg does to get out of the problem. Solution
I think that the main character was Greg. Greg is not very athletic and likes to play video games. He also secretly likes a girl named Holly Hills but he is afraid to tell her. His best friend is Rowley, Rowley and Greg are alike in a lot of ways. Somehow Greg always finds a way to get out of a problem. Main Character
I think that the main setting was Greg's house. Greg's house is kind of messy. Rodrick never cleans up, so the messiest room is the basement because he sleeps there. Greg's dad is always telling him and Rodrick to clean up. Greg ends up doing all the work because Rodrick blames the mess on him and Maney, the little brother, doesn’t do anything. Setting
This Book is About…. Greg’s dad wants Greg to go military school. So Greg tries to do a bunch of things to make it up to his dad. He joins the Boy Scouts, goes to church and figures out who is taking the family junk food to try to avoid military school.
