Discussion • What can we do to support learners with progression routes?
Partnership model works! Assessment - more learners at different levels Referral of potential learners Shared expertise and experience Shared library resources Wider range of classes and levels Bounce ideas! What have we learned?
What else have we learned? • More hours required • Access to I.T. & Internet facilities • Don’t reinvent the wheel • Better links into progression routes (volunteering options, College info etc) • Involve other agencies e.g. taster sessions, short input sessions etc • Closer links needed with JCP and advisors 21
