My Occupational Center They walk up the street to work every day, 100 men and women, Each with their own Gvanim. Each brings their Gvanim with them and welcomes those already there – Good morning, Shalom, even if they arrive in the afternoon. Instructors run from desk to desk, finding an answer to every problem, every question. Throwing out a bit of encouragement, a good word. And each of them – has a Gvanim of their own. The radio is playing, conversations are intense, laughter, words, and yells are all mixed up here. Welcoming all, no matter what language, they’ll quickly find a place among us. Everyone has a Gvanim of their own. This is a special place to work – a warm home and a loving family, that sees these workers even when they’re outside the building, and feels the rhythm of their lives, and cares. And each has a Gvanim of their own.
