  2. About UP Board • The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by a demonstration of United Provinces Legislative Council.[1] It directed its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very begin, had embraced 10+2 arrangement of examination. The principal open examination following 10 years instruction is High School Examination and after the 10+2 phase, there is Intermediate Examination. Preceding 1923, University of Allahabad was the looking at body of these two examinations.

  3. UP Board 12th Passing Criteria • Students who have been written for the board examination for 12th class need to get minimum 33% marks to pass this exam on compulsory basis. After passing this exam students will able to get the admission in higher education.
