How do employees connect and share knowledge with people with similar skills in different locations?

Connecting people • Sharepoint helps you connect to people in several different ways • Add people as your colleagues on your MySite • Use Office Communicator to get presence information and connect to people directly • Use Social Connector in Outlook 2010 to bring the MySite profile information of user to the Outlook client

  7. Outlook 2010 Social Connector • Connect Outlook to Sharepoint 2010 profiles • Display user picture from Sharepoint MySite • Connectors also available for other social networks, LinkedIn, Facebook etc

  8. Summary Sharepoint MySite is a great tool to enable people to easily find and share knowledge. It’s great for connecting people across boundaries like departments and locations. Knowledgeable employees = Happy employees
