  1. Taskstream Submission Of Your Signature Piece Files As of Thursday, November 29, 2007 • General Directions: Preparing Your “Signature Piece” Files 1/2 • 1. You need your login and password for your Taskstream account. • Note: You MUST successfully submit your “signature piece” files for evaluation. This is absolutely required for getting a grade in this course. • 2. Create a folder on your USB flash drive called • CURR285-00-YourLastName-YourFirstName-TS-Fall-2007 • Replace “00” with your section number. • Replace YourLastName and YourFirstName with your own name. • 3. Check the list of required files. (See next slide.) • Copy your edited finalized files to the new folder. Don’t add any other files to this folder. So: no extra files, no previous versions. • The finalized required files are your “signature piece” files for this course. • Make sure your files do NOT have punctuation or special symbols (‘,”:!?.#) in the file name. Required Files 2/2 • Copy the final version of the following files to the new folder called • CURR285-00-YourLastName-YourFirstName-TS-Fall-2007 • Lesson Plan Description • Newsletter • Website Description (1 slide, with active link) • About Me (interactive Powerpoint) • Lesson Activity (interactive Powerpoint) • Include your video (.wmv file). • Presentation with Handout (Assistive Technology/Universal Design) • Sample Quiz (with active link(s) and textboxes for answers; this could be your technical terms quiz) • Something Extra (Optional: Add “something extra” that you could use to teach your lesson. This is your choice.) • ___E-Portfolio-FirstName-LastName-CURR285-00-Fall2007.ppt(Edit this 1-slide Powerpoint file. Notice that the file name includes • 3 “underscore” characters. This file will be the “menu” for your entire signature piece.) “Zipped” file containing all sample files in folder Taskstream Directions, CURR 285 (Michael Beutner, instructor), Fall 2007

  3. After you open your Taskstream account, do this: • Click on My Programs. • Find your degree program. • Click on Work on DRF.

  4. Click on Edit Content.

  5. Click on CURR 285. • Click on Add/Edit Work.

  6. Click on Attachments.

  7. From your CURR285-00-Lastname-FirstName-TS-Fall-2007 folder, copy your • signature piece files, one by one to Taskstream in this way: • Name file is used to describe your file in Taskstream. This is what appears in Taskstream for each file. So, add a brief and clear description for each file here. • To add a file, click on Browse. • Then, click on Add File. • Copy all of your files in your folder to your Taskstream account.

  8. After uploading your files to Taskstream, click on Submission & Evaluation. • In class, during the Final Exam, you will submit your files at one time. (This takes less than a minute.) • There should be text indicating you have submitted your files. It should say: “Submitted to: Dr. Beutner”. • Capture the screen on your Taskstream account for your Final Exam. • Copy your folder with the same files to a blank CD-R disc. Hand it in.
