  2. Description Zelgor 500mg is a type of classification belongs to antineoplasticand it contain active ingredients of Abiraterone acetate.Which is an anti-androgen medication is indicated for the treatment of prostate cancer which spread to other parts of the body. 

  3. Usage Of Zelgor 500mg The patient clinically not used for chemotherapy with prednisone or prednisolone will preferred treatment with metastatic CRPC in adult men. Zelgor 500mg is an inhibitor of CYP17 which is used to treats the patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer, The patient has received earlier chemotherapy with docetaxel combination with prednisone and in failure of androgen deprivation treatment.

  4. Dosage and Administration • Prescribed dose of Zelgor tablets is 1,000 mg, Zelgor 500mg given 4 doses orally once in a day (OD).• Zelgor tablets in Combination with prednisone 5 mg administered orally twice daily. • Zelgor Tablets administrated on an empty stomach. 

  5. Pregnancy Category X: Abiraterone acetate is not recommended for womens, It will cause fetal harm when administered to pregnant women. During treatment if women become pregnant, immediately stop the drug and give counseling to the women.
