Cape Africa Tours – who are we? • CAT was founded in 2000 by Andrew Russell and Barbara Prior. • Andrew owned Rondebosch Travel, a retail travel agency and out of this business, CAT was born. • CAT is a fully registered member of SATSA; membership number 1132. • We specialise in incoming sporting and cultural tours as well as tailormade holidays. • Some of our clients include: • Portsmouth Grammar School (U18 Cricket; U18 Hockey; U11 Soccer and Netball) • Charterhouse School First XI Cricket • Shrewsbury School First XI Cricket • Hampshire Under 12 Cricket Team • Nottingham University Rugby and Netball Teams • Durham University Combined Colleges Cricket Team
One of the recently renovated dormitories now containing single cubicles.
Each cubicle contains a comfortable bed, desk, chair, bedside table and wardrobe.
The bathrooms have all recently been renovated and single showers installed.
The Cape Town Under 19 Girls Cricket Tournament April 2006Itinerary Fri 7 April Depart London Heathrow on direct flight to Cape Town. Sat 8 April Teams arrive in Cape Town. Met by Cape Africa Tours representative. Coach transfer to Bishops in time to check into boarding house and have some lunch. Afternoon net and fielding practice. Evening: official opening function at Bishops for managers and coaches; supper for girls in the boarding house. Sun 9 April Matches at Bishops. Mon 10 April Day tour of the Cape Peninsula, including cableway ride up Table Mountain; Hout Bay Seal Island boat trip; Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve at Cape Point; the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Evening at leisure. Tues 11 April Matches at Bishops – evening at leisure at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Wed 12 April Matches at Bishops – transfer to Grand West Entertainment Centre. Thu 13 April Rest day – catch up on sleep, bake in the sun at Clifton; have a net practice; do some souvenir- hunting! Fri 14 April Matches at Bishops – dinner at Bishops. Sat 15 April Final round of Matches at Bishops. The Final will be a day-night game. Sun 16 April After breakfast teams depart or continue their tour of South Africa.
