  6. Script • Priscilla: Uh, hello – is this the financial aid office? • Officer: Indeed it is, young lady, come right in and have a seat. How can I help you? • Priscilla: Well, I've just been accepted as a student here, and I want to find out what forms of financial aid I can apply for. • Officer: Certainly! We have a whole range of financial aid to offer. First, however, it's my duty to point out that if you're under 21, it's no disgrace to ask your parents for money. • Priscilla: Uh, well, see, my parents can't really afford to help me very much. • Officer: I understand. And I imagine you've already considered finding a part-time job? • Priscilla: Well, I'd really prefer not to work, if I don't have to. I want to concentrate on my studies

Community College • A community college is a two-year college that offers programs of study enabling students to terminate their higher education with an earned degree, transfer to a senior college, or pursue studies that do not lead to a degree.
