Consortial Needs Survey - Themes • Professional development, for the improvement/promotion both of core library services and of integration of academic information units • Cost reduction is the main reason for targeting consortial licensing of e-resources • Learning about new library and learning technologies is an important goal • Sharing resources for information literacy instruction is more important than broader curricular collaboration at this point
Consortial Needs Survey – 5-year Goals • Followed above themes, except: • Library resource sharing not among highest priorities, but a majority expectation as indicator of consortial “success”
