Creating an Oracle Virtual Machine. Launch Oracle Virtual Box. Once you launch Virtual Box, you’ll see screen like the shown above depending on the version of Virtual Box installed. Click the New button from the toolbar to create a new VM. Create New Virtual Machine.

  2. Launch Oracle Virtual Box Once you launch Virtual Box, you’ll see screen like the shown above depending on the version of Virtual Box installed. Click the New button from the toolbar to create a new VM.

  3. Create New Virtual Machine 1. VM name is P6R83 . This is important, if the name is not matched then other scripts will not work.2. Choose the Operating System as Linux.  3. Choose the Version as Oracle (64 bit).4. Click Next

  4. Memory Requirements This applications on the VM are very memory intensive, so it is recommended to use minimum 5Gb (5120 MB) of RAM to the VM.

  5. Virtual Hard Disk Select the ‘Use existing hard disk’ radio button Select the File chooser button and select the image (P683StarterKit.vdi) Click Create
