Citavi – Selecting a Citation Style and Printing a Bibliography
Before printing a bibliography, you may have to select a different citation style. Click the Citation tab, select Citation style, then click Browse citation styles.
Enter the first word or two of the style name or the commonly used abbreviation. Citavi will find any matching styles. Select the one you want, then click the Add button.
Citavi provides examples of citations in the newly added style. To accept this as the current style, click the OK button.
To print a bibliography for your project, click the File tab, select Print project bibliography, and Citavi offers three format options (along with the shortcut keys for each one).
Project bibliography in current citation style includes just the references.
Annotated project bibliography requires you to select elements to include. For a standard annotated bibliography, remove checks from all but Formatted reference and Abstract, then click OK.
Any reference for which you added an abstract includes it beneath the citation.
If you want to include other elements, such as Cover art and Quotations, check the respective boxes . . .
and they will appear for any references to which you’ve added them. (Quotations include a heading in italics – what Citavi labels as a core statement.)
