For the construction of my poster I created the splattered blood effect and smothered it around the poster showing the blood and gore of the movie. Also the picture with the protagonist slightly poking his head out of the room in fear, plus the blood all around the doors and sides give the poster a sense of tension as if to say something is about to happen to him. The picture itself was taken in our college in the dark parts of the school where I thought I could get a good picture of at least one character with the depiction of a distressed and frightened protagonist. the editing used to create a really old and dated effect to the font was to simply apply other effects to the word such as the color overlay, the inter glow, the gradient effect (for the date) I chose to put the title of the film below the main character because in most posters the title of the film (if there is a title) is at the bottom half of the poster or just under the main characters. So this conforms to normal everyday film poster.
