Let’s look at this basic recipe for Spanish Tortilla. • Patatas • Cebolla • Huevos • Leche • Aceite • Sal y Pimiento • Tomate La receta: the recipe Los ingredientes: the ingredients Cocinar: to cook

  10. ¿Qué necesitas? (What do you need?) If we wanted to answer this question, we would need to write los ingredientes (the ingredients). ¿Qué necesitas? Yo necesito __________. If you need to guess on ingredients, that is fine… but use your best guesses!

  14. Práctica Independiente You will be given a meal that you are going to prepare in your restaurant. You need to come up with an ingredient list of at least six ingredients- (at least) five that I taught you, and (at least) one from the dictionary. At the end of class, you will present your ingredients out loud to the class so pronunciation counts! Make sure you are practicing after you finish making your ingredient list.
