Merit System – merits awarded to students for Cooperation Participation Improvement Volunteering Excellence. Demerit System – demerits given to students for various breaches of the code of behaviour. Arklow CBS School Day • We encourage all students to be in prior to first bell in order that they can get to their locker and get organised for the school day ahead. • First Bell 8.50 • Class Bell 8.55 • 3 x 40 minute class periods • Small Break 10.55 • Class Bell 11.05 • 3 x 40 minute class periods • Lunch 1.05 • First Bell 1.45 • Class Bell 1.50 • 3 x 40 minute class periods • End of day 3.50 • Lateness is not acceptable.
