Personal Feelings • The idea to create the TINA initiative was right • Looking at the conditions when the decision was taken • But also considering the business evolution of the Telecom industry • In a competitive environment a specific technology/product can emerge through a market selection process But… • A really innovative architecture need to be the result of a cooperative effort among major players (see GSM, UMTS, MPEG family) TINA Paris Conference
