What if my Gifted Child has poor grades? • They need motivation and support from home and school, simultaneously. • Many gifted students have fluctuating grades. • It is a Myth, an untruth, that all Gifted Students are “good” at all subjects. • They need motivation and support from home and school, simultaneously. • Are your Gifted Children with other Gifted Children-”Clustered” (Cluster ratios)
Poor Grades (Continued) Suggestions: • Arrange for tutoring support • Speak w/teachers and counselors-frequently • Get permission and visit the class during class time. • Monitor progress • Know your child’s friends and their parents
