Hypothesis The lack of money in the partly opened cash register suggests that the perpetrator's initial intention may have been robbery. The blood found on the victim’s hands and clothes suggests that he tried to fight the perpetrator off. The only other positive blood found was a pool around the victim’s head, which suggests that he obtained the injury falling or being pushed to the ground or from being hit with an unknown object.
