LaGuardia’s runway is slightly shorter than two miles at a length of 9000 feet • The pilot sights angles of depression to both the beginning and end of the runway at 18.8 and 17.5 degrees respectively • A. Draw a Diagram • B. Find the air distance the plane must travel until it lands • C. Find the ground distance the plane must travel until touching down on the runway • D.
