  17. Sales case study 1 Example 1 – Recruitment Company in Derby Background- We initially signed this piece of business back in August 2008 and took over the line rental and calls at the offices in Derby and Mansfield. The billing was approx. £493 per month and the margin was 27%. Challenge– Around 12 months ago we started discussing other options with this customer, they had 2 main sites and had started to introduce quite a few smaller offices, they had broadband with other providers and wanted everything in house, all sites linked and better connectivity. Action– We implemented ipbx at both main sites and also plenty of single users at sub offices. We took over the broadband connections at all sites and installed an Ethernet circuit at the head office. Result– We are now billing this customer for everything telephony, they are delighted that all their sites are on ipbx and can communicate better with eachother, they are introducing more sites and users onto the phone service almost weekly and their billing has tripled to around £1500 per month and the margin is 55% so a great example of how the relationship has developed with this customer.

  18. Sales case study 2 • Example 2 – Mortgage Company in Ipswich • Background- Client came on board with us in July 2011 for mobiles. 20+ mobiles who we signed onto the O2 network. Approx billing was £1580 with a margin of 29% at that stage. • Challenge– 2 Challenges here for NSN at the end of the first mobile contract. The client wanted a better deal of course and also wanted to refresh their kit, most importantly had to stay on the O2 network. They also are very keen to move to ipbx however a potential buyout was preventing them signing into new contracts which frustrated them as their fixed line rates through another provider were pretty poor. • Action– We spoke to O2 and secured some additional funding and reduced rental rates which enabled us to fulfil the customers’ requirements with new hardware and a cost saving. With our contract flexibility we also offered a 30 day rolling agreement which enabled the customer the benefit from huge savings and also we were not tying them in for a long contract which they couldn’t commit to. • Result– The customer is absolutely delighted as they are saving money on their mobiles with nsn, have also ditched their fixed line supplier and are saving with us there and are ready now to roll out the ipbx solution across their site. As of last month their monthly billing is around £2841 which has almost doubled with a margin of 44%.Once we go live on iPbx we will then see the margin on this account creep up to around the 50% mark so excellent stuff.
