Difference between Health and Wellness • WHO definition - a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity (1948-2003) • Adams, Bezner & Steinhardt (1997) – “The sense that one is living in a manner that permits the experience of consistent, balanced growth in the physical, spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and psychological dimensions of human existence” HEALTH WELLNESS
Who is responsible for my wellness? • Let us learn a new concept, Personal Responsibility. • Now, that we got that out of the way, we are going to give you the tools to manage YOUR wellness. • You only have one chance at life, don’t let others, your environment, and your past dictate how well you live.

It can be done.
