  3. WP Objectives • To coordinate and support partner efforts, ensuring that project aims and results are achieved in due time and with the planned resources. • To effectively and efficiently comply with the contractual and operational obligations with the EC.

  4. Organisation of work • The WP will be led by NTUA and each partner (as WP Leader) will share part of the coordination of the project and commit itself to provide all the needed input to smoothly implement management activities.

  5. Tasks • The Coordinator will develop the Management Plan • Internal partnership document, to be proposed by the Coordinator and to be agreed upon by all partners . It will define management planning for the whole duration of the project and set rules for partnership functioning. • It will define, in detail: • Management key principles for managing workflow, resources (including budget), communication rules • Management structure • Management tools and mechanisms • Risks and contingency plan

  6. Tasks • The Coordinator will also: • Produce of all the mandatory reports, to be send to the EC, informing on the project implementation, dissemination and results. • Manage day by day activities, monitor project execution and provide support to partners.

  7. Tasks • All partners will: • Ensure active participation to the project • Contribute to management and coordination activities by providing all the needed operational and financial information to the lead partner in due time • Take part to all the coordination activities, as required • JUST, ICPI, KTU, CTIC, CIAPE, and AAST will be also involved in the organisation of project meetings.

  8. Partnership Meetings • Originally planned meetings: • Kick-off meeting in Greece (Athens) – Month 2 • 2nd meeting in Jordan (Jordan) – Month 8 • 3rd meeting in Romania (Bucharest) – Month 14 • 4th meeting in Lithuania (Kaunas) – Month 20 • 5th meeting in Portugal (Alcanena) – Month 25 – CHANGE TO LUXOR, EGYPT • 6th meeting in Italy (Rome) – Month 30 • Final Meeting in Egypt (Alexandria) – Month 36 • Proposal: • Kickoff meeting Jordan December 2017 • 2nd meeting in Athens, Greece, May 2018

  9. Workplan (scheduling) • As part of the Management Plan, a workplan will be maintained, in the form of an electronic excel file, available at the sharing space of all project documents (egdropbox) • The Workplan : • Contains all scheduling information contained in the proposal • Will be updated every six months, following the proceedings of the meetings and the information obtained there. • Will contain up-to-date information about the execution of tasks • An instrument for the monitoring of the timely execution of tasks
