This system collects data on pregnancy, delivery, and newborn care to improve perinatal healthcare. It provides accurate information for decision-making and national investments, enhancing coordination between healthcare sources. By capturing health indicators directly from EHRs, it enables federal surveys and interventions in social services as needed. The anonymized data informs funding and actions required for public health and clinical research.
