We offer services, programs, and collaboration to support national information sharing initiatives. Our partnerships and advisory committees work together with government and industry to advance information sharing goals.

The IJIS Institute Our Mission: Joining the resources of industry with the interests of government to improve the systems that provide critical information to the justice and public safety professionals that protect and serve our communities. • A non-profit consortium representing industry’s leading companies • Funded by a combination of industry contributions and federal grants • Providing services to local, state, tribal and federal organizations • Helping justice and public safety fully realize the power of information

Services & Programs Supporting National Information Sharing Initiatives: • Funded by multiple grantor organizations – administered and directed by BJA. • Services – our core offering to local, state, tribal and federal communities. • Programs and Projects - advancing high interest initiatives nationally. • Collaboration - providing a mixture of subject matter experts and technologists from industry, government and partners.

Supporting National Information Sharing Initiatives: • Continue to enhance Collaboration among partners – engage the full strength of our partnerships and focus on the advancement of national strategies. • Maintain quality of delivery – extend capabilities and capacities to effectively assist more organizations in their efforts to achieve information sharing goals. • Help get the word out – integrate effective marketing and communications to attract new communities. • Never lose perspective – there is still a long way to go.
