  11. The “project”– from “The Capital of oil” to “The Capital of energy” • “The project team” will look into: • How do we take the step “from oil to energy”? • Where does this take the region? (10 – 30 years) • What competence, technology do we need to do this? • How do we develop a smooth “infrastructure” to import and export competence? • How do we create the best “from oil to energy university”? • Etc… • Develop a regional strategy

What would Acergy like to see from the region • Ability to monitor the market for the region and respond in time. • Needs a close and trusting relationship with the industry. • A regional strategy that is focused and involves the industry. • Facilitation of the change processes identified in the regional strategy. • An education system which is supporting the long term strategy and is closely linked with the industry. • Secure R&D funding to support the regional strategy.
