No food and drinks (except water) are allowed in my room. • EQ: How does symbolism contribute to our understanding of poetry? • Warm Up: Finish reading page 728 through 733. • Respond to questions 3, 5, 6, 11, and 12. • Answer questions A & B on page 731 and A & B on page 733 ( you can write all these answers on the same piece of paper). • We will DISCUSS “The Tyger” and “The Lamb.” • READ “The Poison Tree” on page 743 • ANSWER questions A & B on page 743 • TURN IN – all work • SC Standard: E4-1.5 – Analyze the effect of the author’s craft

Make sure that both partners names are on it. • SC Standard: E4-1.6 Create responses to literary texts through a variety of methods
