HOME HERBAL MEDICINE MAKING WORKSHOP Date: Sunday 6th April2014 Time: 12pm to 5pm Location: Sustainable Education Centre, Manch Estate, Ballineen, Co Cork A four-hour practical workshop for participants to learn about and experience making herbal remedies from locally available, native plants. Workshop is aimed at people who already use shop-bought herbal remedies and would like to learn to make the preparations themselves. The Workshop covers: Alcohol and Vinegar Tinctures Glycerites/oxymels Oil infusions Gels & Ointments Participants will also be taken on a short herb walk in the walled garden to identify native medicinal herbs growing locally. Cost: Home Herbal Remedy Making: €40 Members of INFF receive a 10% discount on the above price Please bring your own packed lunch Lunch will be held from 1-2 after herb walk.
