Specialist/Imported Units added The following Units were accredited as part of the SVQs in May 2011
SCQF Credit Rating SVQ B&A Group Awards now credit rated on SCQF: • Business and Administration level 1 (GA3W 21) – SCQF level 4 • Business and Administration level 2 (GA3V 22) – SCQF level 5 • Business and Administration level 3 (GA41 23) – SCQF level 6 • Business and Administration level 4 (GA3Y 24) – SCQF level 7 All individual Units SCQF credit rated apart from Finance Units (FSP) Candidates’ SCQF profile on their record of achievement will be determined by their specific pathway through the SVQ

Understanding Standards • SQA material providing examples of good and poor practice for different types of evidence. Available at www.understandingstandards.org.uk (late April 2012) • Focus on types of evidence rather than covering specific Units makes examples relevant across the whole SVQ • Centres can look to apply examples of good practice where not already in place • Centres can be alerted to where current practice may not be at the desired standard
