  2. My Experience at St. Ann’s

Confirmation • The sacramental rite in which the candidates "express a mature commitment to Christ, and receive strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop" (BCP, p. 860). • “ a mature, public reaffirmation of the Christian faith and the baptismal promises”

  4. First Year Students • We ask that first year students participate at any mass as: • Acolytes • Lay readers • Walking up Communion offertory • Partake in prayer • All students are required to attend the acolyte training on September 26th.

  5. Second Year Students • Attend class each week at 9:00 am in the Rectory. • Our curriculum will focus on the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer and the history of Christianity.

  6. Our Class Schedule • Students should be committed to attending class each and every Sunday. • In order to be considered for confirmation, we recommend that students do not miss more than four classes and one field trip.

  7. Camp DeWolfe Retreat • Wading River, NY • December 12th & 13th • Cost: ~ $55 per student

  8. Super Night Watch • Cathedral of St. John the Divine, NYC • March 5th & 6th • Cost: ~ $55 per student
