What eats it/what it eats • What the eye lash pit viper mainly eats is , lizards, rodents, birds and amphibians. • The eye lash pit viper kills fast ,injects venom and swallows slowly. • The eye lash pit vipers main predators are bigger mammals , badgers , foxes , hedgehogs, other snakes , big fish , birds of prey and humans.

  3. What it looks like/what it does The eyelash pit vipers head looks triangle and gets wider as it grows up. Female pit vipers are bigger the male pit vipers and can grow up to 45-75 cm. The eyelash pit viper has hard scales to protect it from branches. The pit vipers fangs fold back into the jaw when not using them

  4. Where it lives/How long it lives for • The eyelash pit viper lives in Central America & North & South America. • They have been sent over the world accidently in shipments of bananas. • They can live up to 16 years (in captivity).

  5. Main facts • The pit viper is not an aggressive snake but will if harassed. • The eyelash pit viper was named after a German ornithologist. • Female pit vipers fertilize eggs and give birth to 6-12 live birth that are between 15-18cm. • Pit vipers use their sense of smell to find mates.
