27. Questions & Answers Q: I have been diagnosed with a skin disorder called folliculitis (it causes redness of the scalp due to ingrown hair tissue). Could you recommend products that you carry that I could possibly use to counterattack this ailment? I have unsightly scars over my body, and I would love to have great looking skin again.  I know you cannot prescribe anything, but I am not familiar with your product and would like to have some advice.George A: Let’s describe what folliculitis is: Folliculitis is inflammation of one or more hair follicles. It can occur anywhere on the skin. Common symptoms include a rash, itching, and pimples or pustules near a hair follicle in the neck, head, or body. Folliculitis is estimated to affect more 10%-20% of people at some point in their lives.
