Who is God? • Sovereign • The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD. • We may throw the dice, but the LORD determines how they fall.Proverbs 16:33 (NLT) • The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will. Who is God? • Sovereign • Wise • Speed of light: 186,000 mi/sec = 5.87 trillion mi/yr • Milky Way is 100,000 ly in diameter • At 155 mi/sec, our solar system will take 200 million years to complete one trip around the Milky Way • Stars in the Milky Way galaxy: 100 billion to 400 billion • Galaxies in the universe: 100 billion to 500 billion TRUST...
