  3. INTRODUCTION John 3:3…. “In reply Jesus declared, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” (NIV) The Kingdom of God is within you and me!

  4. Let us learn to understand what really is…

  5. MAIN POINTS 1. What Is The Kingdom Of God? Matthew 6:10.... “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (NIV)

  6. GOD'S KINGDOM (Greek, basileia) is “God’s rule or reign.” The realm of new life where God rules and reigns. Jesus is Lord!

  7. The Kingdom of God is the “RULE” of God – the control of God in our HEARTS. A heart that is willing to surrender and yield to CHRIST’SRULE in all areas of a believer’s life.

  8. The Basileia(Kingdom) refers to the SOVEREIGNTY and DOMINION over one’s life.

  9. 2. How Can We Experience The Kingdom Of God?

  10. GOD'S KINGDOM comes to earth through…. Each NEW SOUL that is brought into the Kingdom, Each BELIEVER’S HEART that is changed into His likeness.

  11. Christ’s Kingdom comes through... A) CONVERSION Matthew 18:1-4…. “(v.1) At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?’ (v.2) He called a little child and had him stand among them. ….

  12. Matthew 18:1-4…. …. (v.3) And he said: ‘I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. (v.4) Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’ ” (NIV)

  13. CONVERSION to the GOD'S KINGDOM involves 3 things…. • AnINVITATION(Matthew 22:1-14) • AREPENTANCE(Mark 1:14,15) • AWILLING RESPONSE(Mark 12:28-34; Luke 9:61,62)

  14. The present existence of the Kingdom on earth in INTERNAL in the hearts and minds of those who believe and belong to Jesus Christ, the King!

  15. B) COMMITMENT Matthew 6:10b…. “… your will be done….”(NIV) … respond to the “RULE” in their lives…. Jesus "RULES" in them as He "RULES" in heaven.

  16. C) CONCENTRATION Hebrews 12:1-3…. “ (v.1) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. ….

  17. Hebrews 12:1-3…. ... (v.2)Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (v.3)Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”(NIV)

  18. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Satanoffers you and I all the pleasures of the world to tempt and seduce us to follow his path (1 John 2:15-17), and away from Jesus and His Kingdom.

  19. We are Christ’s …. we are content with Him and all that He offers. (1 Timothy 6:6-10) 1 Thessalonians 5:24…. “The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.” (NIV; cf. Hebrews 10:23)

  20. 3. How Can We See His Kingdom Rule In Us?

  21. Romans 12:1,2…. “ (v.1)Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. (v.2) Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. ….

  22. Romans 12:1,2…. …. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.”(NIV)

  23. COOPERATION.... with the working of the Holy Spirit in us. Salvation must follow by teaching. Teaching must follow by obedience.

  24. Obedience must follow by a willingness to cooperate with the working of Holy Spirit in our lives. We are changed in our spirit instantaneously at salvation, but not our mind, heart and life.

  25. We are to present ourselves as “a living sacrifice” to God – so that He can work in our lives, change us …. His Kingdom come forth in our lives.

  26. We can only experience His “Kingdom” (RULE)in us when we die to self, and Jesus sits on the “THRONE” of our heart – directing our mind, will and life.

  27. CONCLUSION The “Kingdom of God” is in us when we allow God’s Holy Spirit to …. 1) Take up residence in our lives. 2) Change us from the inside out.

  28. 2 Corinthians 5:17.... “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.”(NIV)

  29. His Kingdom His RULE in our life. …. allowing Christ to freely “RULE” and “REIGN” over our lives and our decision, and every aspect of everything.

  30. Matthew 6:10.... “Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” (NIV) Let's pray!
