SEPT Idea • Talented children below the age of nine are identified through careful scrutiny • Selection trials held at various centers in the State • 2000 children from about 20000 are selected • Placed in 52 SEPT centres • Centres concentrated around children’s place of residence • Every three months intensive coaching under a professional coach • Some sessions conducted by coaches from Belgium, Holland, Malaysia and Germany • Foreign coaches also conduct periodical refresher courses for our local resident trainers • SEPT also organizes regular tournaments which include inter-center tournaments • Best trainees selected to represent SEPT in tournaments within India and Abroad

SEPT Elite Centre - Feroke • First elite centre - Feroke College Higher Secondary School, Feroke, Calicut • All amenities will be provided by the management of Feroke College Higher Secondary School • An on-site manager and two full time coaches appointed by SSEPL • Trainees will be housed four to a room and provided with spacious sleeping arrangements on two tier bunk beds • Each child will have a personal locker • Two ceiling fans per room for enhanced cooling and meshed windows to keep out insects • Enhanced mess facilities to include additional nutrition and additional nourishment at the training grounds • To enable the children to have more time for studies, an in house ‘Dhobi’ has been recruited to take care of the laundry • A recreation room has been commissioned with audio and video equipment not only for recreation but also for classroom training facilities • An additional storage room for all the sporting equipment has also been commissioned
