Review: Slumdog Millionaire A young street kid makes it to the final round of Mumbai's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and ends up in the police station with battery cables on his toes. Did he cheat? Or could the 'slumdog' from the ghetto actually know the answers? Over the course of this kinetic and colourful Danny Boyle movie, we see how small choices make a big moral difference over time. Sweet and thoroughly charming, Slumdog Millionaire is an easy bet. • Katherine Monk, canada.comPublished: Thursday, November 20, 2008
