SQL DB Mirroring 구성 사례 • 국내 온라인 게임 서비스 업체 • 문제점 및 요구 사항 • SQL DB의 I/O가 많음. 백업 I/O가 발생시 서비스에 문제 발생. • SQL I/O Bottleneck 발생(SCSI Interface) • 디스크 손실, 논리적 오류로 인한 서비스 장애 발생시 데이터 손실 최소화 • 백업으로 발생하는 DB I/O 최소화(서비스 영향) • 가급적 자주 SQL DB의 백업 되어야 함(시간당 1회) • 방안 • SQL Database SnapShot 을 이용한 Off-host 백업(백업으로 생기는 SQL DB의 I/O를 최소화 ) • Disk Mirroring(RAID1)을 구성한 후, FlashSnap option을 이용한 Off-host 백업 진행
