  7. 4b. Conference May 2016 • Theme: Humanising Technology • Plenary speakers: Sophia Mavridi (IATEFL LT-SIG) and Gary Motteram (University of Manchester) • 12 good quality parallel sessions + Question Time BUT… • …numbers again an issue (Item 4d)

Links with other organisations • TP attended Associates’ Day at IATEFL 2018 in Brighton • Had fruitful discussions about collaboration with NATECLA, NALDIC, SATEFL and ELT Ireland reps • £500 Teacher Development Scholarship • Continuing fruitful links with IATEFL SIGs – this year IPSEN-SIG

  9. 4d. Issues • Conference – themes, speakers, timing, venue, cost? Does it have a future? • Facebook, Twitter (600+ on e-list) • Topics, speakers, venues (including outside Manchester) for sessions. We need suggestions /recommendations (within our budget) • Overall costs
