2. quality. It was in 1995 that the Eiermann family granted Richard Lampert the sole manufacturing rights for 1953 original, which is now available in its original, demountable design. Thanks to the many different material options for the tabletop, many colour options for the frame, the design with either centrally positioned or offset crossbars, or the different sizes available, the table is the ideal solution for worktops, desks, and conference tables. The tabletop comes in the following range of colours, finishes, and materials – 5 layer plywood: Solid spruce or fir oiled plywood made with weather- resistant glue. Melamine: White coated with ABS edge or oak Solid oak: Smoked oak with a lacquered finish Linoleum Forbo: Ash grey, salsa red, conifer green, midnight blue, black, pebble grey with the oak edge. The table base frame or trestle has centrally positioned metal crossbars for sitting up straight whereas the Eiermann desk has offset crossbars allowing sitting at an angle with outstretched legs.
