2. Capture Vital Signs From Outside of the Encounter • You can now capture vital signs from outside of an encounter and then import those results into an encounter • Why? Many providers feel that they are best suited to choose the correct template for an encounter

3. Capture Vital Signs From the Main Screen

4. Enter Vital Signs Data

5. New Vital SignsAvailable in the Patient Chart

6. Open a New Encounter

7. Choose Encounter Type

8. Open the EncounterDouble Click on Your Template

9. Enter Vital Signs Set Cursor to Preferred Location to Enter Vital Signs

10. Select Vital SignsClick the Drop Down Arrow to Select

11. Vital Signs History Appears

12. Choose a Set of Vital Signs or Select “+Add” to Add Vital Signs on the Fly

13. Pull in Collected Vitals Vitals Collected Outside the Encounter are Documented in the Encounter
