What are the Media Arts? • The media arts are considered any form of the arts that has been created with technology. • This can include the visual arts, music, dance, and drama. • Most commonly thought of media arts are film, graphic design, and digital music.

The Media arts are coming (most likely ) With the students themselves using technology as such a regular part of their lives, integrating that technology in education is becoming (has become?) necessary. With the increasing ability of smart phones and tablets, integrating the media arts is becoming easier and useful.

“Flipping the Class” • Technique in teaching where class time is used for homework and lectures are done through video to be watched on student’s own time. • Screencast-O-Matic for creating on screen tutorials and presentations with your audio.
