  1. Filoli Beauty And Fun Throughout The Year

  2. FIloli estate and gardens,  located just off HW 280 on San Francisco Peninsular close to San Carlos, are beautiful any time of the year. Each month it has something different to surprise you with, whether it be plants in bloom or special events. 

  3. So you can literally visit Filoli every month for the year and see it in a totally different light each time. That’s why it is one of my most favorite one-day trip destinations in San Francisco Bay Area. Here is a breakdown per month of what you can expect to see at Filoli: Late January – early February

  4. Late February – March: daffodils are popping up everywhere April: tulips and wisteria time May: lilacs in bloom and Filoli hosts its annual flower fair in the middle of the month

  5. June – August: prime time for the rose garden, plus there are special art exhibits held in the garden during the summer September: harvest time for fruit trees (mainly apples and pears) and harvest festival where you can taste all this bounty

  6. End of November – December: Holidays at Filoli, a prime Christmas event when Filoli is being lavishly decorated inside and outside. You can also visit with Santa or attend a music performance in the evening or both
