Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission ZENO DATALOGGER
ZENO SPECIFICATIONS • A. Analog inputs • Seven (7) double ended or fourteen (14) single ended inputs offer a choice of sampling performance. • Analog Expansion board added for 24 differential inputs. • Ultra-high resolution: ±18-bit at 2 channels/second with 50/60 Hz noise rejection. • High resolution: ±15-bit at 15 channels/second with 50/60 Hz noise rejection. • Medium resolution: ±13-bit at 90 channels/second. • Low resolution: Two (2) channels available at ±12-bit A/D at 20,000 conversions/second. • Accuracy and linearity are provided over a wide temperature range as follows: • Linearity: ±0.001% (-40°C to +60°C). • Basic absolute accuracy: ±0.05% (-40°C to +60°C). • Wide dynamic input range: ±5 mV to ±5 V in 10 ranges, with >1 GW input resistance. • The preamplifiers used to provide the wide dynamic range have worst-case characteristics (‑40°C to +60°C): • Common mode rejection ratio: 100 dB. • Offset drift: software correctable to better than 0.1µV/°C. • Gain accuracy: 0.06% of measurement. • All analog inputs are fault-protected against shorts, overvoltages, transients and ESD.
ZENO USER INTERFACE • The Zeno User Interface Is A Simple, Menu-Driven System • This Is The Most Basic Way To Interface With The Zeno And Requires Minimal Hardware/Software - All You Need Is A Dumb Terminal And A Serial Cable • You Can Use Any Terminal Emulation Package To Access The Zeno User Interface Through Either A Direct Connection Or Over A Modem • The Terminal Emulation Package Needs To Be Set To 9600 Baud, 8 Data Bits, No Parity, And 1 Stop Bit • Once You Have A Computer Attached To The Zeno And Have The Terminal Emulation Package Started, Type “U” And A Carriage Return To Trigger The Zeno User Interface
PASSWORDS • All Operations On The Zeno Are Password Protected • There Are Three Levels Of Password Protection • The First Level Password Grants You Minimal Access To The Data Logger -- You Can View Data And Enter Operator Logs • The Second Level Password Gives You Access to the Zeno Scheduler Menu • The Third Level Password Grants Full Access To All Features • You Can Cause Great Damage With The Third Level Password • Normal Operators Will Only Require The First Level Password
