  2. Ecosystem’s Location • The Coral Reef is located in the Pacific ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.

  3. Define Producers, Consumers, & Decomposers • Producers are living things that make their own food. • Consumers are living things that rely on producers. • Decomposers are living things that get their food from dead plants and animals.

  4. Examples of producers, consumers, and decomposers *An example of a producer is seaweed and sea cucumber. *An example of a consumer is a fish ,sharks , dolphins and turtles. *An example of a decomposer is bacteria , moss and mold.

  5. Living and Nonliving things • An example of living things are fish ,sharks ,moss ,turtles ,crabs ,mold ,dolphins ,seaweed and ect. • An example of a nonliving thing is water ,and deceased animals.

  6. Life in the Ecosystems *Most of the animals in the Coral Reef are very territorial. *The coral reef is a type of ecosystems shaped by lime-stone formations. *Coral reef is a type of underwater enviroment shaped by limestone.

  7. How living things meet their needs *Some sea animals meet their needs by eating other animals • Some sea animals need air to live so they go up to the surface for air. • Other sea animals need salt water to live to breathe in the water.

  8. Amazing Facts • There are coral reef eaters they eat coral, sponges and starfish. • There are different species of coral , wich are fringing reefs barrier reefs and attols. • The reef gets its energy from the sun.
